When it comes to Ford muscle and sports cars models (and we leave the Mustang models aside), I do not think that there is a better sports car in the entire Ford lineup. Designed and built for pure thrill and joy that only a powerful sports vehicle can give to a man, what is there not to like about this 550HP powerful and awesome looking sports car? Therefore, it should not be a surprise that even the quieter corners at the Paris show, such is the one with the Ford GT model that you are about to see in the video bellow, were fulfilled with curious eyes.
Unlike most of the other models of Ford`s racing heritage that are widely known, the GT model is a little bit `modest` in the department (almost every model was built in limited edition), but it is equally important and legendary when it comes to technological capabilities of the brand.
It is powered by a supercharged mid-mounted V8 engine covered with fiberglass that generates over 500 horse and torque power, perfectly designed body on an aluminum chassis, capless fuel filter and Brembo brakes, it carries the spirit of the past when Ford swept away the Ferrari and won the 24 Hours of Le Mans four time in a row in the late 60s. As a reminiscence of all that, we have this perfectly preserved 2006 Ford GT model at 2014 Paris Motor Show, so enjoy it.
