Having A No Start Issue With Your Car? Learn How To Properly Diagnose Your Car Starting Problem!

We have all had some problems with our cars. This is why we occasionally share a video that explains how to deal with a particular problem! Today we are presenting you a video that will teach you how to properly diagnose no start issues! It is important to know whether it`s a no crank, no start issue, or a crank, no start issue. The difference between these two is quite evident. If it is the former, then when you turn your key, nothing will happen.

This means the engine won`t turn over and you will maybe just hear a click. If it`s the latter, the engine will start spinning when you turn the key, but the car still won`t start! Both of these problems are treated differently, and this is why it is important to know what exactly the issue is. This particular video explains how to fix a no crank, no start issue on a 1999 Honda Civic DX.

If you have a no crank, no start issue with your car, the first suspect is always the battery. It is the heart of the electrical system, and it`s logical to take a look at it first. It should also be noted that the cause of the problem might also be the connections to the battery, and not the battery itself! Instead of grabbing a battery charger, the quickest way to see if the battery and the battery connections are fully operational is to turn on the headlights!

If the headlights are bright, it means everything is OK, but if they are not, it could indicate that the battery is the problem. Another possible cause for the no crank, no start issue is the starter. The inability of the engine to rotate can also contribute to a no crank, no start problem! Make sure to watch the video till the end to find out more about fixing this problem.
