Meet One Of Australia’s Fastest Cars! 7-Second 1972 Valiant Charger!

Just like here in the United States, in Australia, people are also mad about powerful and fast muscle cars, something that we could have seen many times by now. We have shown you many awesome examples that are coming from Australia, numerous exciting drag races and real drag monsters that are boosting with an adrenaline rush and makes your blood pressure running high. Well, today we will introduce to you one of the fastest Ozzie muscle monsters, a 1972 Valiant Charger, a car that we do not have a chance to see very often in the US.

The owner of this awesome Charger is actually on a tour throughout the US, for the 2013 Drag Week, visiting various drag strips, trying to do his best time and show just what a cool ride he and his mates have built. It is a heavy monster, weighting about 4 200 lbs and it is powered by a 572 cubic inch Twin 88mm Turbo 9.4 liter V8 engine that is giving an output to about 1 900 HP. During his first drag performances in Indianapolis and Madison he had some problems and tuning issues, so he could not achieve his goal and make a 7 second pass, so their best times were `only` around 8 seconds. But the problems could not last forever and finally the Faraone team broke into the 7 second pass in their last two races.

It really is one cool video with an appealing story, so I suggest you watch it and enjoy it all the way through. And if you want to find out more about the 1972 Valiant Charger, check out this link.
