1985 C4 CORVETTE KART VS 2014 C7 CORVETTE LINGENFELTER!

Today we have prepared you a video from an episode of the Roadkill, that features a Chevy Corvette built like something we have not seen before, and which I`m sure, it will raise the interest and the adrenaline rush level in many of you. But as you could have read in the title, it is not just a presentation of this crazy built, but a comparison with the 2014 Chevy Corvette C7! So buckle up! Those of you who are following the HOT ROD magazine for some time, may very well remember an episode from about 5 years ago, when the guys got a 1985 C4 Corvette, and changed it beyond recognition, slicing 900 pounds of it, trying to prove that it would be faster than the Autocross.

This time, thanks to the Freiburger and Finnegan, the guys made more changes to it, caging it up, and transforming it into a real mean machine that looks nothing like the original! Besides the cage, they add an extra 350 HP from a Rat Rod engine, removed even more weight off it, rebuild the transmission, and end up with a real monster-kart!

And what better way to test the power and racing capability of the 1985 C4 Corvette than to put it up against a highly tuned and upgraded Lingenfelter Performance Engineering 2014 Chevy CorvetteĀ C7 that is boosting 640 HP, take it out for a shootout, and of course, a real off-road mayhem!

Sounds appealing and intriguing? Just watch this half an hour video and experience an adrenaline rush like never before! And if you want to see more Lingenfelter Performance Engineering Corvette examples, go to this link.
