We remember Elvis as the king of rock and roll, but he also had another side – he enjoyed lavish, extravagant living. He owned three private jets, from which one is now in a museum and one is privately owned, but the third one is a special story. Have you ever seen Elvis Presley Private Jet before?
As it turns out, Elvis Presley private jet is now for sale, if you have the money! It`s a 1962 Lockheed Jetstar and it`s currently on offer at GWS Auctions. However, don`t get your checkbook out yet, because this jet might be destined for other things.
Namely, The King designed a museum a while ago and that museum is now interested in acquiring this machine.
If you look at the interior of Elvis Presley private jet, you`ll see exactly what you expect – red velvet is everywhere and gold-tone metal interior and luxury woodwork dominate the view.
It`s an awesome plane to have in a personal collection as it has the unique history and charm as only this plane can. However, don`t rev up the engines just yet.
This plane has had its engines removed, and even if they were still there, flying it would be impossible due to the cockpit that is the same as in 1962, meaning it doesn`t comply with modern standards. Still, it`s an impressive piece!
