The 2012 Hyundai Genesis is a luxury sedan with rear wheel drive. This model is available with several engines:
-- 3.8 V6, 333 hp with 291 lb-ft of torques. This engine took the Hyundai Genesis from 0 to 60 mph in 6.4 sec. EPA- fuel economy is 18-city/28- highway and 22- combined (mpg).
-- 4.6 V8, 378 hp with 324 lb-ft of torque with regular gas and the second option 385 hp with 333 lb-ft of torque (premium). Its estimated fuel economy is 16/25/19 (mpg).
-- 5.0 V8 (and R-Spec trim level), 429 hp with 376 lb-ft of torque. The R-Spec goes from 0 -- 60 mph in 5.3 seconds. Its estimated fuel economy is 16/25/18 (mpg).
Genesis Trim Levels and Options!
17″ wheels are coming standard in the Genesis, as well as the auto headlights, fog lights, heated outside mirrors, sunroof, 8-way power driver seat with lumbar support, keyless entry, cruise control, 2-zone automatic climate control, 4-way power passenger seat, heated seats, leather package, Bluetooth and a 7-speaker satellite radio sound system with iPod and USB port.
The Premium trim level adds 18″ alloy wheels, automatic wipers, folding side mirrors, a power steering wheel, leather dash, door and consoles, driver seat memory, power rear sunshade, rear parking camera, GPS -- navigation system with real time option, a Seven-inch touch screen and Lexicon surround-sound system with 14 speaker with DVD player.
Also there are technology updates in this Premium trim level like adaptive cruise control, adaptive HID-headlights, parking sensors, driver seat ventilation, lane departure warning system, electronic parking brake, upgraded leather package, heated rear seats, advanced Bluetooth system, eight-inch display multimedia interface, and Lexicon audio system with 17 speakers with HD radio.
In the Genesis 5.0 R-Spec are included all of the features from the Premium and Technology package and additional19-inch alloy wheels and sport suspension, transmission and steering and optional summer tires.

In the 2012 Hyundai Genesis ABS, BAS, ESP and TCS are standard, as well as the active front head restraints, driver`s an passengers` front, rear and side, than parking sensors, but the lane-departure warning system and a rear parking camera are optional on the 3.8 trim level (standard on the 4.6 and 5.0 R-Spec level).
