GIGANTIC! The Big, The Bigger & The Biggest! Here Are The 3 Most Massive Machines On Earth!!

We have shared a lot of big machines on this website. The following three massive machines however, are probably the biggest ones yet! If you think that ultra-class haul trucks are big, wait until you watch this video of the 3 biggest vehicles IN THE WORLD! The first machine of this trio belongs to NASA, and it is known as NASA`s crawler transporter! There are 2 of these behemoths in existence, and they were built way back in 1965, at the cost of $14 million for each one! Hans and Franz, as these 2 machines are known, are the biggest land vehicles in the entire world! What makes these massive machines special is the cargo they transport.

Both of NASA`s crawler transporters are used for transporting rockets and space shuttles! In order to do this task, Hans and Franz have engines that are able to deliver a staggering 8000 horsepower! This speaks volumes of the impressive power of the 131 feet long and 114 feet wide crawler transporters! As for the weight, both Hans and Franz weigh around 6,000,000lb each!

The second member of the trio of massive machines is known as Big Bertha, and it is the biggest tunnel boring machine on Earth. Big Bertha was made specifically for a tunnel project in Seattle, and to put it simply, it is an engineering masterpiece! Due to the machine`s size, Big Bertha needed to be disassembled into 41 pieces so that it can be transported to the USA from Japan! You shouldn`t be surprised though, because Big Bertha has a diameter of over 57 feet!

Furthermore, it has a weight of 14,000,000lb and length of 326 feet! Seeing Big Bertha from up close will definitely make you feel puny! Finally, the last member of the trio of massive machines is the Bagger 293. Its dimensions are utterly RIDICULOUS! This monstrous machine is 315 feet high, 738 feet long and has a weight of about 31,000,000lb! You have to watch the video to believe something this gigantic actually exists!
