Well, it took 34 people more than 6,000 hours and well over 15 days to fully finish the repainting process of the massive airplane A380 . This time lapse video begins by the plane arriving and being parked in the massive hangar. First things first, the old paint has to be stripped down from the plane.
They spray it with a primer that will help them easily strip it off. It takes lots of time but they do it nice and slow, hence you would want to avoid any potential damage to the plane that might cost thousands and thousands to repair. After the old color is taken off, it is time for the new one to shine. They spray couple of layers of primer until finally the plane is finished. The guys from Emirates do this type of repaint to an A380 Airplane every 7-8 years.
