Hannes Roth DRIFTING In a Bathtub On A Hillclimb Race!

The human wish and desire to create a vehicle that will be original and unique is ever present and every now and then, we get to see some pretty weird and bizarre `cars` with certain features that gives them the capability to compete with the other, normal cars. Just like in the following Hannes Roth case that we have prepared for you in this article, which I believe will entertain most of you.

Just as you have read in the title, what we have here is specially `modified and tuned` bathtub, transformed into a draft vehicle that is competing in a hillclimb race.

The inventor of this drift-bathtub is the eccentric Swiss engineer Hannes Roth, who equipped his old bathtub with a racing bucket seat of a go-kart, mounted a motor from a go-kart as well, and added a dual exhaust system, along with a set of slicks. And after everything was ready, he made his bathtub debut on the Bergrennen Reitnau, in his home country, Switzerland.

As you will see in the video clip below, the tub still has its shower on it, but it runs and drifts greatly. And from what we can find out, Hannes Roth has plans to create even more bizarre drift cars in the future, so we are really keen to see what will his next project be.

Until then, take a look at him drifting and doing donuts in his bathtub during the hillclib race and enjoy it! And if you want to see more great and extraordinary Hillclimb videos, go to this link.
