Sometimes, it can be very hard to discern whether some people are very brave or just very stupid. The guy in this video definitely belongs in this group! He casually wakesurfs behind his Super Air Nautique G23 boat without any a single worry on his mind! We are not certain if he is trying to get himself a Darwin award, but it definitely looks like it! In case you were wondering, a Darwin award is `given` to an individual who has done something remarkably stupid.
In some cases, the winners survive, in others, they don`t. With that being explained, let us continue focusing on the video. This laid back surfer films himself as he goes wake surfing. He goes to the back of the boat, puts his special board in the water and starts surfing! One thing that might cross you mind is the fact that there are no big waves in sight, but this guy still surfs the water without a problem! He doesn`t even use a rope to pull him!
He is still able to surf on the water because he is actually wakesurfing! Unlike ordinary surfing, you don`t need big waves to wakesurf. All you need is a boat in front of you, so you can trail behind it and ride the boat`s wake! This is why his Super Air Nautique G23 boat is right in front of him. Most of the time however, surfers use a rope to get up on the wake. This guy however, uses nothing at all! We are not sure if it`s pure skill or just luck, but it definitely looks amazing!
