Since last year, this car has undergone a serious testing program, resulting with couple of modifications mostly in the fields of aerodynamics, potential and cooling. Compared with its predecessor, the P1, the P1 GTR is more powerful, delivers more downforce, and it is lighter. The engine remains the same 3.8 liter, twin turbo V8 machine and it is hybrid combo as well, although it went under detailed revision for maximum track performance.
The key components are swapped with parts developed for motorsport, which give better results at high speeds. Moreover, in order to reduce the car`s weight, some parts are substituted with lighter ones. If you combine the replaced parts, this car is 110 lbs lighter. The total number of horses that this car is capable to deliver is amazing 986, of which 789 come from the engine, and the rest of them from the electric motor.
