Well, this was not the case with the famous YouTuber Ratarossa. He managed to come across a Ferrari Testarossa in Puerto Rico in the least expected place. So, what actually happened and how can you just find an abandoned Testarossa in Puerto Rico? We will give you a brief history of events.
To begin with, Ratarossa is a YouTuber who is in a search of old and abandoned vehicle. Luckily, he got a tip from car enthusiast in Puerto Rico that there was a stunning Ferrari left to rot on a private property. But we are not talking about couple of years though. No, this car was left as it is on the parking lot for 17 years straight! No one can even understand how is this possible and what the reason might be behind this sinful act. As it turns out it all started when the owner actually bought the car.
Maintaining one such vehicle is very expensive. We are not even mentioning the fact that purchasing one in the first place is going to cost you a fortune. So, as it turns out, this abandoned Testarossa was actually the result of not having enough money to drive it from time to time. Soon after purchasing the car, the owner realized that he probably made a mistake but did not want to sell the car. This basically meant that he was going to lose a lot of money, so he decided to just leave it on his property. Year after year, the Ferrari collected dust and began to rust.
17 years later, the car looks dirty and old and if you want to restore it, it is going to cost a fortune. The owner is willing to sell the car for around $30,000, which is not a bad price to be honest. However, you need to take in consideration the fact that you are going to spend a lot of money restoring it. Suddenly, this does not look like a great deal after all. Moreover, taking the car back to US is also going to be difficult and expensive. All we can do is hope that this abandoned Testarossa is going to have a better future!
