Many of us are fond of the famous Batman! The character is just so cool! Who wouldn`t want to be a billionaire who disguises himself to save his beloved city! Furthermore, having all kinds of amazing weapons and cars is also really nice! For us gearheads, the Batmobile is what caught our attention! The video we have for you today shows us the Batmobile from the “The Dark Night“. The “Tumbler“, as this Batmobile is known, is one sweet ride! Watch this epic race between the Toyota Formula 1 car vs `Batmobile` from the “The Dark Knight“.
The footage was recorded at the famous Formula 1 track Silverstone. The opponent of the “Tumbler“ in this video is a Toyota Formula 1 car! Toyota`s F1 driver Timo Glock drove the Formula 1 car along side the Batmobile which was driven by Jarno Trulli. In our opinion, the Batmobile should be the next F1 Safety Car! After all, it would be so awesome to have this Batmobile control the Formula 1 cars in case of a crash! Make the driver wear a Batman costume too! We would love to see something like that! Although it might look big, the “Tumbler“ is still quite fast! It can accelerate to 60 miles per hour in just 5.6 seconds! The 500 horsepower 5.7 liter GM V8 engine this beast has is definitely no joke! On top of all this, the way this Batmobile looks is just astonishing! Nevertheless, we can only hope for this car to make it to the Formula 1. We do have a video of it driving side by side with a Toyota Formula 1 car, so we guess this will have to do!
