The 2015 FORD FOCUS ST WAS TAKEN FOR A TEST!

The U.S. market got an unpleasant surprise from Ford by offering their 2015 FORD Focus ST with summer-only set of tires. Although there is a $30 option for an all-season tire, buyers are still reluctant to purchase this kind of package. And they are right! All-season tires are actually a phenomenon that occurred in North America. There is no chance for a car to run on a single set of tires throughout a year and that`s why some Gearhead circles came out with the nickname “no season tire”!

The flaws of the all-season tires have been confirmed through several grips-centric tests. The results were dramatic declines in dry grip whereas the braking consumes more feet and the lateral acceleration notes a decrease of about 0.07 g. Anyway, the new Ford Focus ST is quite smoother in transitions than before and it is still more stable than the GTI`s! The improved flat-bottom steering wheel contributed in a more refined feeling while driving. So, if you forget the all-season package, you`ll be more than happy with the 345 HP Ford Focus ST!
