Despite reduced deliveries, Tesla is manufacturing at an extreme production rate! Only in the second quarter of 2016, Tesla has made 18,345 cars! The EV manufacturer has released a press statement that half of these 18,345 vehicles were constructed in the last four weeks! Amazing Tesla production rate indeed!
In terms of deliveries, Tesla`s Q2 numbers were not as high as expected. For Q2, the company delivered 14,370 cars while 9,745 of them were Model S and 4,625 X SUVs. This is actually the first time that the Model S demand goes in a downward spiral for two consecutive quarters! Nevertheless, the Tesla production rate has never been higher!
