The production of vehicles has changed a lot over the past decades. We are constantly seeing the change all around us with some vehicles turning out to be better. However, this is not the case with every car or truck. Some of them really do end up looking way worse than they used to be. Some people have had enough out of this constant change and decided to take matters into their own hands. This is the perfect chance to meet a truck enthusiast who was fed up with GM and their regular cab short bed.
So, who is this guy and what did he actually do? Well, meet Adanomyte, an Instagram user who drastically changed the look of his GM truck. If you regularly follow the news in the truck world, you can fairly easy notice that short beds are not produced anymore. To some people this was a huge change and they could not take it anymore. Though we have to admit that the latest trucks are just as beautiful, there is something else about short beds that are so attractive. They almost have this Hot Rod feel!
Well, this is exactly what our GM truck enthusiast had in mind when he decided to do the huge overhaul. However, it was not an easy task at all. He had plenty of trouble until the time of completion. He regularly posted his progress on social media and explained what his next step was. The first step, obviously was to find a short bed that could fir his truck. He could not just cut the old one and put the tailgate at the back. It was basically a process of trial and error and even the slightest mistake could have thrown him way off course.
But, little by little, his regular cab short bed was beginning to take shape. After fitting the bed to the truck, it was time for painting. Since he is an enthusiast unlike anyone else, he wanted his truck to look and feel special. And we must admit that he did just that. On his profile on Instagram he posted a photo of the finished piece of art. Words cannot describe how awesome it looks. Such e seemingly “small change” can make such a huge difference. This is true for nearly all project though some people take things to the next level.
This is just one of the reasons why we love modifications and we admire people who do them. It requires great effort and plenty of time to finish one but it is surely worth it. There cannot be anything more appealing than your own piece of art coming to life. These enthusiasts really do prove that nothing is impossible if you have a good idea. Yes, there are times when it is difficult but all you need is patience and in no time, you are going to get the job done!
