We have all seen some crazy things on the road, ranging from car crashes, bad drivers, car chases, serious speeding and whatnots. But it is safe to say that most of us will probably never see a plane landing on an avenue!!! Yes, you read that right, an actual Piper Cherokee airplane landing in the middle of a busy avenue. It sounds unbelievable, but the video is here to prove it is not! The most we would expect to see while waiting at a traffic light is probably someone speeding to avoid the red light. But this guy got something he will probably never see again, and his reaction only confirms it! The plane landed on Red Hill Avenue in Irvine, and it continued along the way for a few hundred yards until it got to a complete halt.

What makes this even more amazing is the fact that the pilot landed the plane while the traffic light was still green! Now that is some serious skill! Up until this moment, we only thought this was possible in video games! The single engine Piper Cherokee airplane with a student pilot and an instructor aboard made the emergency landing as it was headed towards John Wayne Airport. Fortunately, no one was injured in the whole process. The small plane sustained no significant damage and was towed by authorities. The reason why the emergency landing happened has still not been stated. Nevertheless, it all ended well for both the plane and the pilots, which was a great relief. Although we might never find out why this whole crazy thing happened, we are lucky enough to get this video as proof that something this crazy actually happened!
