The Chevy Small Block V8. Probably one of the greatest engines built in history! This engine can be implemented literally into everything. The ultimate go-to-engine for hot rods! Even “Hennessey Performance” implemented one in their fiercely fast Venom GT! Hell, people are even known to put an LS even into MX-5 Miatas! The LS is the perfect engine! So, to try and re-engineer an LS is a very bold move indeed. But, that sure didn`t stop Mercury Marine from trying with their Mercury Marine engine concept and bringing the perfection of the LS engine to a totally different level!

What’s Mercury Marine you may ask? Well, they are only the most badass boat engine builders! Real game changers in their field of work! Mercury Marine has something you probably never heard of, a Quad Cam LS! In broader meaning, this is 4 valves per cylinder, a dual overhead cam, LS!

This Mercury Marine engine is a total insanity, indeed! At first Mercury Marine began with an LS7. However, they expanded the displacement to an immense 9 litters! That`s actually roughly said 500 cc more than all off the displacement that the Shifting Lanes` cars have COMBINED! On top of everything, Mercury Marine added 2 turbos. You may ask yourselves: Why? Why would they install so much hellish power into this engine? Because why the hell not? Because Powwwwwerrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! Because Stars and Stripes! And yeah, Bugatti can eat dust indeed! Because, this Mercury Marine engine packs 1650 HP!! From every cylinder this engine has that`s like 206 horsepower! 1000 more HP then a brand new Vette ZO6!

This beast can go in every type of machinery you want: a car, a boat, motorcycle, an awesome and incredibly powerful coffee making machine, you name it! All jokes aside, the specs this engine has are alien!
