When it comes to speed records, the first car that pops on our minds is the iconic Bugatti Veyron. It was the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse that set the convertible car world record when it drove 254 miles per hour! Everything is about to change however, as Hennessey Performance decided to break this record! They decided to use a Venom GT Spyder for this task, an American sports car well known for its incredible capabilities!

The top of the Venom GT Spyder was taken off, and the stage was set! If there is a better way for a company to celebrate 25 years of existence, let us know! Naval Air Station Lemoore was the place where this video was filmed. As for the testing, the renowned independent speed testing firm Racelogic was hired! They were in charge of confirming the top speed of the Venom GT Spyder!

March 25, 2016 was the day when Hennessey Performance celebrated their 25th anniversary in the most incredible way possible!
