How To Install A Differential In A Honda S2000! Nicely Explained!

If you want to learn how to install a Honda S2000 differential, this is the video for you. This guy bought a differential that is about 0.3 stronger than the stock one, so the car is going to produce a bit more torque. First, however, he has to take the old differential out of the car and he pretty much uses the Honda manual for that. He raises the car on jack stands and removes the rear wheels for extra space, as well as the exhaust, even though this isn`t recommended by the service manual.

Afterwards, he takes apart parts of the suspension as well, and a bunch of other nuts and bolts all around the working space. Then, he takes the new Honda S2000 differential and fills it with the recommended oil, shutting the fill hole afterwards. He then mounts the differential brackets on it, and lifts up the new differential by a jack right into the spot! After tightening up all the nuts and bolts and installing the axle shafts to the differential, he starts putting together all the stuff he took apart, such as the exhaust, suspension and wheels. Presto, the new differential is installed, the car is lowered and ready for driving!
