The LEGO engine is not consisted from 2 camshafts as it looks like but from a crankshaft and camshaft. This of course has its own advantages and disadvantages. The biggest pron is definitely the space savings and the design of the engine in general. Disadvantage is that there are a lot more moving parts in the game that take a bit of power to complete. But no one could do this compact build. The hoses are polyamide and this engine is not building up a lot of heat, because all parts are very well lubricated while its running. Very impressive guys, keep the good work!
