Whenever you are coming up with plans for your next classic car project, we all like to make sure that the car that we are working on is as rare and expensive as it can get. It seems that coming across an amazing barn finds is a common occurrence these days, but these guys discovered an absolute gem when they salvaged this really rare piece of history, the Ferrari 250 GT SWB, which later on became the fifth most expensive car that was ever sold at an auction. Yes, you heard it right!

Besides the other magnificent cars found at this farm located in the western France, such as Bugatti, Talbot-Lago, Maserati, Delage and many, many more, was the Ferrari 250 GT SWB that was sold at the auction on Friday for whooping $23 million. The thing that makes this car so special and expensive is the fact that only 36 of them were ever made, thus making it one of the most desirable classic cars ever.



To make the situation ever better, there have been some famous names that sat behind the steering wheel of this monster, names such as Alain Delon and Shirley MacLaine back in 1964. Coming across such car on an abandoned farm is an absolutely amazing occurrence and it is surely not something that we are used to seeing on daily basis.
