I`m sure that the following GTR vs Z06 video that you are about to see will rise up the temperature in your room. And what else could it be when you have the best of the best: the American icon of sports cars, the one and only Chevy Corvette ZO6, against the unbeatable and legendary street racer, the Nissan Skyline GTR R35, drag battling on the perfect strip, far away from any distractions, just pure competitive spirit and high doze of adrenalin rush.
It is one of those videos (very well familiar by now) coming from Russia, on the drag strip near Moscow area, on which we have these 500 + HP monsters facing each other.
As you are about to see in the GTR vs Z06 race, the Nissan is having very good launch control and gets a good head start, but as this is 1 mile race in total, things get very tight at the end. The result at ¼ mile for the Corvette is 12.416 seconds at 123.1 mph and 29.536 seconds at 183.35 mph at the 1 mile finish. On the other side, Nissan has 11.641 seconds at 120.13 at ¼ mile and 29.181 seconds at 177.53 mph at the finish. So the legend continues, GTR wins again.
But from what we can read at the end, the overall winner is Porsche 911 Turbo, with 24.895 seconds, at 208 mph, at the 1 mile finish. But we`ll leave that for another time.
