When you think about it, this Chevrolet recall is pretty weird. Why you ask? Well, it`s quite a simple problem and it`s not really related to safety! This theft problem that might occur due to key chime problems provoked a Chevrolet recall of over 300K small vehicles!
The vehicles in stake are the Chevy Trax models built from 2013 to 2016, Chevy Spark models built from 2013 to 2015. Finally, the Chevy Sonic models built from 2013 to 2016 will be recalled. The problem, however is the following. If the driver spends more than 10 minutes between switching off the car and opening the door, the system might not alert that the key is still in the ignition!
