You know that saying “talking a lot, ain`t saying much”, or something like that!? Well, that is how I can describe the guy in the following video that you are going to see in a few moments. We have this guy with his cool looking 427 big block Chevy Chevelle (we don`t have the info about how much horsepower it produces, but I`m sure it is not less than 400), that has its peak power at 7 600 rpm, persistently running down the drag strip, but without some significant result.
He is doing it alone, battling with time, trying to do his best, afterwards he is also drag racing with other cars, and in those cases, he always ends up second. I mean, this is a little bit strange video clip to me. I`m not sure exactly why and how, it is definitely not some funny video, or just for laughs, but then again, it is far from being a classic drag race video, with all the suspense and thrill that each race is carrying within.
After many passes on the strip, it turns out that his best time is 11.61 seconds at 121 mph, which, even though far from something impressive, it is not all that bad. But for a powerful car like that big block Chevy Chevelle? I`m sure that there is a room for a lot better.
I do not know. As I have said, this is somehow a strange video to me. Go ahead and watch it, and later on, share your thoughts about it with us, because I would really like to hear your opinion about it.
