First things first, you are going to have to choose the size of the nut according to the size of your finger, hence you would want the nut to be larger than the diameter of your finger so you can easily work on it. The first process is going to be heating up the nut until it is glowing red. This is going to soften the metal, thus making lot easier to work on it.

Then, by using a file, start filing down the middle of the nut, making it as large as you need. All you have to do now is to work on the look of the ring itself, thus creating the final piece. It takes just under an hour of precise and patient work until the beautiful ring comes to life. Furthermore, you can even polish the metal to make it shiny and attractive.
