CLASSIC 1966 FORD GT40 Race Car at 2016 SEMA SHOW! A Beast That’ll Blow You Away!

Who would not want to see one of the most legendary race cars, in the history of the American muscle car production, and in the entire history of race cars? Therefore, we believe that we do not need to emphasize just how big was the interest at the 2016 SEMA, about the Ford`s legendary `66 model, right?! This 1966 Ford GT40 race car is the specimen that was used by the American manufacturer to get its revenge at the famous Le Mans race in France, against Ferrari!

It took 3 tough years to implement all the changes to build this speeding bullet, and in June 1966, this very model brought the 1-2-3 victory at Le Mans to Ford, completely sweeping the competition, and `putting blush` to Ferrari`s face!

It has the huge 427 cubic inch, 7.0 litre V8 engine under the hood, that can generate 485 HP, and 475 pound feet of torque. And in a combination with the Lola chassis, on which the fiberglass body is riding on, this car is a true beast that can still take on the biggest names in the game!

But, enough `talks`. Just have a look at the following video, and see this beast with your own eyes! And if you want to see the other race cars that were displayed at the 2016 SEMA show, click here.
