Mike Brewer’s Side Of The Story About Wheeler Dealers!

Discovery Channel was and it has remained one of the best places for us when it comes to watching exceptional car shows and realities. Many great shows have appeared in these last couple of decades and we all loved each minute spent watching them. Some of them were not so fortunate enough to still be aired and were completely shut down, whereas some have stayed and managed to live for years and years. One such car show that was aired for the first time many years ago and has still managed to do great job is surely Wheeler Dealers.

Wheeler Dealers Will Continue To Live Mike Brewers Side Of The Story 2

This magnificent show presents the constant search for awesome classic cars, purchasing them for small amount of money, restoring them and eventually selling them for profit by two gentlemen, Mike Brewer and his mechanic Edd China. This team spent over 13 years together and built 135 cars. Their first ever purchase was the Porsche 924 back in 2003 for just 700 pounds. After hard work repairing it, they managed to earn profit of just less than 500 pounds. Wheeler Dealers earned a sufficient number of fans and viewers over the years, 138 million people to be exact. But despite all the great work and success, one man decided that it was a time for a change.

Everyone was utterly shocked when Edd China decided that after 13 years of success, he was going to leave the car show. He announced his decision on a video posted on YouTube earlier this year. Despite everyone being gutted, there was one man that absolutely taken aback by this decision, and that is Mike Brewer. He says that they had a close relationship and a very close bond so this decision was out of the blue. Mike further on says that because of this decision he and his family have some problems whenever they go out on the streets or into the supermarket. In an interview he stated that this decision made him suffer a lot and affected everyone that was closely connected to the show. He was even being abused! But Mike says that Edd pointed out his reasons for leaving and people should make their own conclusions.

After months of disputes and misunderstandings, Mike said that he did not have any idea about Edd`s role being reduced in the show because Edd never actually told him. Mike even got the chance to say a word or two about the controversial video in which he says that in Edd`s world he was a star and that he started to choose whatever he wanted to do in the show, and said that this was simply taken out of context. Even though having difficulties and problems, Mike says that Wheeler Dealers will not suffer and it will continue to do great job. A new mechanic was hired and his name is Ant Anstead, who is a hard-working man and highly skilled orator who knows his job. Discovery has also shown its support for the show and Mike is very grateful to anyone. All we can hope is that the show will never stop airing! For more info go to MotoringBox!
