In Action: Water Bomber Extinguishing A Burning Lorry In Canada!

What you are about to see below is an amazing moment featuring a water bomber pouring a huge amount of water in order to extinguish a burning lorry in Canada. A plane was used by the local fire department because the fire chief thought it would just take too long if a fire truck was used. Their fears were justified because the accident happened in a remote area in Labrador and Newfoundland in Canada.

Amazing Moment When A Water Bomber Was Used To Extinguish Burning Lorry In Canada 4

The lorry burst in flames after colliding with a road grader. This happened on the extremely treacherous Trans-Labrador Highway. The 42-second video shows the airplane rapidly approaching the scene and straightening out before pouring the huge amount of water.

The road grader and the lorry are not visible at all through the massive wall of water. We said this extreme move was justified because the fire service in Labrador were dealing with huge forest fires in the recent past. The driver of the lorry was trapped inside his burning vehicle. Fortunately, the road grader driver somehow managed to pull him out to safety before the water bomber arrived. This incredible footage was filmed last year. However, it has recently surfaced online once again. The video is recorded by Shawn Noseworthy who was working on the road when the crash happened.
