TRUCK OF THE FUTURE! The Nikola One Hydrogen Truck Is A Real Game Changer! Presented In Salt Lake City!

What has an electric range of 1200 miles and a 1000HP? No, it`s not the latest Tesla but the world`s first hydrogen-powered semi-truck – the Nicola One. It`s manufactured by the Nikola Motor Company and it promises to be a zero-emissions trucking game changer. A hydrogen fuel cell charges up a 320 kilowatt hour battery and that powers six electric motors and six wheels. Yeah, the Nikola One hydrogen truck is an all-wheel drive! The Nikola Motor Company is planning an infrastructure of 364 hydrogen stations across America and Canada. The first one should be coming in 2019 and that`s not all.

Here`s the kicker, not only will these stations be available for Nikola trucks, but it will also be available to any and all hydrogen powered vehicles. In terms of looks, the Nikola One hydrogen truck it`s a little Tron-like. There is no diesel engine and the entire cab has been pushed forward. So, from inside you`ve got a huge panoramic window which should help the drivers see more of what`s going on around them. We think it looks pretty cool, and can`t wait to see one out on the road. Unfortunately, we have to wait for quite a long time. The manufacturer says these babies won`t be in production full swing until 2020.
