Lamborghini SESTO ELEMENTO Start Up & Road TEST!

As we all know it by now, the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is part of Lamborghini`s limited production line, and for this short period of time, it has become one of the most desirable luxury sports cars on the planet.

Made completely out of carbon (that is where the name comes from – the sixth element on the periodic table), which caused a significant weight reduction (total weight is about 2 300 pounds), and powered by a V10 engine that gives an output of 570 HP, this incredible supercar can accelerate from 0 to 62 in only 2.5 seconds (some tests have shown results of even 2.3 seconds).

As we said, the main component of the Sesto Elemento is the carbon, or if you want it more correctly, carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP), which was successfully developed through a process that uses the material from 3D design via simulation and validation, and then putting it into a production. You may not going to believe this, but the wheels are also made completely out of carbon and the exhaust system from a glass ceramic composite called Pyrosic, that can endure very high temperature.

I know that many of these things sounds like from a SF novel or a movie, but the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is very much real. That is why I`m calling it a supercar for the next century, because it is way before everything else we can see. Check out the video and see how its engine start up sounds and how does it look on the road.
