These type of refueling aircraft carriers are usually powered by two nuclear reactors. These reactors power four propellers that deliver 30 knots of maximum speed. Each reactor should produce around 550 megawatts. However, the maximum speed and the fuel efficiency is only speculation because this information is held top secret. Nevertheless, this massive ship is crucial for our army and defense so fortunately this exercise has to be done every two decades otherwise it would be impossible to perform.
