Formula 1 is one of the fastest racing gatherings out there, and capturing these moments with a camera requires having the most modern and latest one, or at least that is what we think hence we get a photography lesson from this man who made these Formula 1 old photos with a 104 years old camera! It does sound very shocking, but you will be even more shocked once you take a look at the photos themselves. Instead of using the latest and most expensive cameras, he took his old Graflex 4×5 view camera and made these incredible photos.
He got inside the photography business back in 1997, when he graduated from the art college in California. After couple of years shooting for magazines, he took a step forward and in 2013 for the first time photographed a Formula 1 event.
It was a major success and he is currently shooting for the fifth year in a row and he is making those Formula 1 old photos absolutely amazing. He says that he got his inspiration from a 1969 magazine in which he saw photos from the Indy 500.
Some of the photos are shot in a blurred manner, but this is done intentionally in order to make them look as old as the camera is. He took advantage of his talent and combines it together with the Graflex camera to make something nobody has done to this day. What do you think, do you admire his works and his talent?
