The event called 2015 Innovation Days kept up to its name giving BMW the opportunity to show as its two transformers-like hydrogen fuel cell cars. We are talking about the converted 5 Series GT and the amazing BMW i8 prototype. The latter remains a mystery for us, as we only know that the i8 has hydrogen-only engine able to develop maximum velocity of 124 mph.
The 5 Series GT FCV has an engine which is a kind of combination from both i3 and i8 and has a capacity of producing 245hp. The 350-bar pressure fuel tank has enough capacity to afford a trip of about 300 miles (500 km).
