4000HP Flying Corvette Takes Off On A Race At Tulsa Raceway Park!

When you stick 4000HP worth of equipment in a single vehicle, things tend to get bent out of shape. That`s exactly what happened with this flying Corvette down at the drag races. The driver revs up the engine and takes off – right off the runway! Fortunately the entire front clip was peeled off by the wind and the damage to the car was reduced, although still incredibly severe. The driver made it out fine but he`s going to have to work on his ride! However, we know that after a long time at the mechanics` this red bullet will be back on the asphalt!

Daniel Pharris, the driver was driving Andrew Alepa`s incredible Twin Turbo Corvette against Brandon Pesz in Tulsa. As you can see, this flying Corvette didn`t exactly take its handling very well after Brandon did one short wheelie with his Enigma Camaro. This is what actually happens when they build a light car and no bars. But, whatever the reasons for this were, it`s up to the driver to get his car in check and prevent this from happening this time, because his back is sure going to hurt tomorrow! Good thing that parachute was there as well, it helped stop the car and also allowed the driver to jump out of his freshly-slammed vehicle!
