Today we have prepared for you a video clip from this summer`s 2014 Pikes Peak Drifting competitions at Colorado Springs. In the following four minutes you will see and hear the inside story of Ken Guchi`s experience and his personal journey with his Scion FR-S through this sketchy and difficult terrain.
Driving and drifting at the Race to the Clouds competition in Colorado is truly challenging task, where only the most prepared drivers, who are ready to face all kinds of problems and ordeals can do it. Ken Gushi is definitely a type of driver who fits in that category.
As you will see it for yourself in the video bellow, even from the very beginning Ken and his 500+ HP Scion FR-S started having engine problems. But thanks to his skilful team of mechanics, most of those problems were solved as fast as it was possible and Ken was ready to do what he does best. And this year, that meant time attack on the first class, consisted with a lot of Porsches, STIs and other supercars.
Despite many of the problems, Ken Gushi did a great job on this race and finished with a trophy in his hands. Check out the 2014 Pikes Peak video and find out more on how this guy walked and cornered his way to success.
