This unique 1969 Mach 40 Mustang has won the Gran Turismo “Best-in-Show” award at SEMA 2012. This award is one of the top honors for the SEMA participants. The car dubbed the “MACH 40″ was made by “Eckert`s Rod and Custom” from Oregon together with Hardison’s metal shaping experts.
At this back window of this futuristic looking vehicle there is a shiny supercharger and it is made with Ford GT base platform. In our opinion this is one of the best modern “Retro Rod” style car.
The metalwork is amazing and it is capturing many of the character lines of the original 1969 Mach 1 Mustang and even with the more futuristic look. In the interior there is a mixture of modern amenities and old styling together with performance.
We have no doubt that this Mach 40 Mustang would be a pleasure to drive even on a daily basis.
