1956 Chevy Bel Air vs Built Ford Mustang Cobra! OLD SCHOOL!

A great quarter mile distance drag race between the old and new. A `56 Chevy Bel Air in Black and Silver combination of colors, versus Built Ford Mustang Cobra in black, battling each other at the Bandimere Speedway in Morrison track, which is located high in the mountain area, at about 6 000 feet above the sea level.

To tell you the truth, if someone would have told me to put my money on one of these two challengers, I probably would have choose the Ford Mustang Cobra. Not because I`m so sure that it is a better car or anything, probably because of my personal affection towards these great sports cars.

But as it often turns out to be (especially with my betting skills), the result was different than what I was expecting. `56 Chevy ran through the finish first with a result of 11.977 seconds at 111.23 mph and the Cobra followed him with 12.136 seconds at 119.20 mph. Sometimes things happen for a reason and sometimes they simply just do. Enjoy the video!
