The KIA Optima 2016 may still have some similarities with its relative, the Hyundai Sonata, yet this model is a story for itself. Both vehicles have the same size of wheelbase and both have pretty much the same hardware elements. However, you cannot know that unless you inspect the cars thoroughly and of course, drive them.
The 2016 Kia Optima comes with three engine options: 2.0 liter motor with turbos, a bigger one 2.4 liter as well as a smaller one 1.6 liter engine amplified with turbos planned for better fuel efficiency. The first motor type produces 245 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.
