For many auto enthusiasts, Maranello, Italy means only one thing – Ferrari. However, in a range of around 15 miles around the town, you can discover many vehicle workshops that are specialized in servicing and restoring the cars created in this “sacred” area. Many of the car mechanics that work in those workshops are former Ferrari employees from the golden era. Their experience and knowledge in Ferrari is invaluable.
One of those legendary workshops is Scuderia Toni. It`s a modest and tiny shop located in a villa across the Ferrari factory. A whole plethora of legendary models can be seen here. There are always Dynos around and models like a 330 GTC or 275GTB/4 waiting for service. Apart from old-timers, cars like F40 and 288 GTO are no exceptions. This workshop is mostly renowned for tuning engines.

Another of the legendary Maranello`s vehicle workshops we have Carrozzeria Autosport, owned by former Ferrari worker -- Signore Franco Barchelli. He opened this shop back in 1976. Inside you can find a variety of top-of-the-range vehicles that date from the period. Apart from restoring old-timers, this shop is also responsible for complete restorations as well. They are mostly renowned for bodywork. Not just for the quality, but the unique technique as well.
If some component needs to be replaced, they build it from scratch. In the main working hall, extremely rare cars like an Alfa Romeo 6C 1949, a Maserati A6GT and a P400S Lamborghini Miura can be found.

Last but not least from the greatest Maranello vehicle workshops we have the shop of Egido Brandoli. Before starting his own business, Brandoli worked as a craftsman for Ferrari`s body supplier -- Carrozzeria Scaglietti, back in the 60`s. Amazingly, when Brandoli left the company, Ferrari gave him a permission to take the bucks of older cars with him. Meaning that the finished pieces made by this company are the most authentic components you can find today in the automotive market.
However, you can`t find many classic models parked here, because workers are completely dedicated creating body panels. Nevertheless, this is a unique sight by itself.
