ALL-WHEEL DRIVE 1971 CHEVY CHEVELLE from France!

1971 CHEVY CHEVELLE awd biturbo DA

When a real muscle car aficionado gets to see a furious riot on a vintage Detroit muscle, he immediately feels the blood pumping on a higher level and adrenaline rush taking over the entire body. There are all the right reasons in the world for something like that: the loud and highly appealing noise, the tire screams, all those clouds of smoke… The following example that you are going see is going to give you all that, and even more. It is an all-wheel drive 1971 Chevy Chevelle that is coming from France.

You got to admit that it is a pretty rare thing to see, especially because there are not many Detroit muscle manufacturers who had embraced this technology, with only a few exceptions, like the 1991 GMC Syclone/Typhoon twins, and some others. But you probably know well that their number is not high.

And as the fans of the 1971 Chevy Chevelle know it well, this great vintage muscle also does not operate in this manner, but somewhere in France, someone decided to adapt an all-wheel drive system to it, and from what we can see in these two videos, it does not look and sound bad at all. On the contrary..

By using a front differential from Typhoon, a NP149 transfer case, along with 12-bolt out back, now he has a legit 1971 Chevy Chevelle with all-wheel drive. Under the hood there is a Twin Turbo 355 cubic inch small block engine, that is using E85 fuel and boosting astonishing 1 000 HP. The acceleration from 0 to 60 is incredible 2.7 seconds, and the way it sounds…Oh Boy!

Just watch these two videos and you will see what I`m talking about. The way he made this car, is simply superb. And if you want to read something about a classic Chevelle, go to this link.
