Don’t Worry There’s No Fire! Turbo Boosted Holden VL Calais Makes A Pretty SMOKEY Burnout! Real Tire Carnage!

We don`t know a gearhead that doesn`t like burnouts! And there is nothing better than an awesome burnout performed in an inappropriate place! Tire tread may go into oblivion but it is very well worth it when that glorious blue-gray cloud of smoke is produced! It is overwhelmingly exciting! Doing a burnout is the greatest way of having fun with friction while retaining your pants zipped! And the amount of tire smoke done by this Holden is massive in this video! So massive that the whole Holden is actually covered in smoke! The car that is performing this burnout is a Holden VL Calais. A very popular car in Australia. And this Holden VL Calais car that you will bask upon doing an awesome burnout is definitely no ordinary Holden!

We suspect the engine fitted in this Holden is a 4.0L 6 cylinder Ford Barra engine with one hell of a sick turbo! These Ford Barra 4L engines are absolutely phenomenal! And you can very well see the engine because the hood of this Holden is removed for the video! We are not quite sure about the turbo fitted in that engine though. But we are going to make a guess anyway. We suspect it may be a Garret GTX 45 or maybe a Garret GTX 47! And you are going to witness this awesome burnout right when the turbo boost hits! The sound that is produced by the turbo is just out of this world! Some like engine sound but for some turbo is life!

The red Holden VL Calais decorated with Australian flags definitely destroyed those rear tires with that awesome burnout! No tire can withstand that amount of burnout pressure! And judging by the smoke who knows how many tire thread molecules went airborne all around the car?!
