Heller Ford’s 1967 Ford Mustang Restomod Supercharged!

Those of you who are following the world of cars, know well that Restomod builds are not uncommon, even though there are not many who are trying to blend the old school with contemporary style. And just as it happens, sometimes when you try hard to mix these two things, things end up in a (to say the least) original and unique way. Some may find it interesting and clever, but I strongly doubt that traditional Mustang fans would feel the same way. We are saying all these because a while ago we came across this Heller Ford`s 1967 Ford Mustang Restomod on eBay. And regardless of whether you (or I) like it or not, the fact that for its completion $ 187 000 and over 3 000 working hours were spend, makes my head spin.

S 197 Mustang Restomod

Only from a first look at it, you will recognize that the body line is completely early S 197 Mustang and according to the eBay seller, we have brand new 2005 Ford Mustang GT with metal `67 Mustang body panels, that are carefully fitted, widening the space for 8 inches.

Under the hood of this 1967 Ford Mustang Restomod weird hybrid there is a 4.6 liter Saleen supercharged V8, connected to a 5 speed automatic transmission and the mileage clock says only 2 000.

As the info goes, the bidding will start at $ 50 000, but I`m doubting they will recover the build costs. For all interested, item number is 360983451030.
