Rock & Roll Legend Charles Edward Anderson “Chuck Berry” Famous For Gearhead Song “Maybelline” Dies At 90!

Rock And Roll icon Charles Edward Anderson better known as Chuck Berry was a big gearhead and reached great fame with a song that is about old Cadillacs. This is a song that every gearhead has heard at least once in life. He passed away at the age of 90, but his great legacy goes on. He is known for incredible guitar skills and iconic songs that had a huge impact in how rock and roll was developed. His passing was confirmed by the ST. Charles Police in Missouri via their Facebook page. The St. Charles Police announced that when the medical emergency service arrived at his home, all lifesaving measures failed and he was declared dead soon after.

There was no doubt that he was a great gearhead. He had a huge personal collection of Cadillacs in his possession. One of those Cadillacs, was a 1973 Cadillac Eldorado. He bought the car brand new that same year. This beautiful candy-apple red Cadillac was also driven during the production of the documentary movie “Hail! Hail! Rock `n` Roll (1987). This documentary chronicles two amazing concerts from 1986. However, in 2012 Chuck Berry decided to donate this prized car in his collection to the NMAAHC. There is no doubt that Charles Edward Anderson “Chuck Berry” left a huge legacy behind him that is unmatched and legendary music that is going to be played for many years to come.
