Witness The Mightiness Of The Chain Trencher & The Disc Trencher! These Machines Cut Solid Ground Like Butter!

Although our specialty are videos of muscle cars and trucks, it doesn`t mean we don`t find other machines uninteresting! This is why today we decided to show you a video of two powerful machines that you don`t see very often! In the following video, you will get to see the mightiness of both a chain trencher and a disc trencher! As their names suggest, these two pieces of machinery are used for digging trenches, most notably for installing pipes, cables and drainage.

Even though there are quite a few different types of trenchers, this video focuses on only 2 types: the chain trencher and the disc trencher. The two machines essentially have the same purpose, but they do look different. Starting with the chain trencher, it looks like a giant chainsaw! If this is not a mean looking machine, we don`t know what is!

In order for the chain trencher to dig a trench, it has to be in a fixed position, only going forward or backwards. There is even one chain trencher shown on the railroad! Unlike the chain trencher, the disc trencher has a metal disc that does the digging. In the video, we get to see a Nextrencher D-250 in action. This model has a disc attached to an excavator, enabling it to dig trenches from several different angles! It can dig on different terrain as well, from ground to concrete.

Furthermore, due to the design of this machine, it can dig trenches in the middle of the city without affecting the traffic. Nonetheless, whatever type of trencher is used, it will get the job done. These powerful machines are quite important for building proper infrastructure, and people are not even aware of it! This is why we decided to show them to you guys.
