Check Out JAPAN’s Aamazing 65-Foot (20 Meters) Tateyama Snow Corridor! So Massive It Will Scare You!

Murodo-daira of Tateyama possesses one of the heaviest snowfalls the world knows of, where it reaches around 23ft on average. However, the amazing Otani snow mantle, which is only a 5 minute walk from the Murodo Station, occasionally gets higher than 65,6 feet due to snowdrifts. This incredible “Snow Walls” are made by expelling the heavy snow with specially built snow plows machines. These machines are designed to handle such large snow deposits. They start cleaning the snow only after locating the road with GPS. The 0.3 miles long snow corridor is available for sightseers from April to the end of May.
