1970 CHEVY CHEVELLE Comes With A New ELECTRIC STEERING KIT at 2016 SEMA SHOW

Although we all love the vintage Detroit muscles (or many of us), the fact of the matter is that the new technology opens many new doors. And only because we want our cars to look just as they used to be in the period of the golden era of the American muscle car production, it doesn`t mean that the new technology shouldn`t be implemented in them, right? This vintage 1970 Chevy Chevelle is the best proof of that!

This beauty from the 2016 SEMA, was one of the rides that gave us a look into the future. Namely, the Unisteer Performance Products plans to come up on the market, early in the 2017, with their latest electric power steering conversion kit. And besides the Chevy Chevelle models from the 1964 to 1972, it`ll be available for the Chevy II/Novas (the gen.1962 to 1967), as well as the 1965-1969 Ford Mustang models.

Besides the new steering column, this kit, also known as “Plug-and-Play”, includes an electric power unit, and it`s placed on the floor, right beneath the steering wheel of the car. According to the information we could get, it`ll sell for about $2 000.
