The world of racing has seen some amazing drivers with even more amazing cars, and these names will be remembered in the future for a long time, but is Toomas Heikkinen one of them?
Could we consider him as one of the best drivers currently out there? Well, this video surely proves that we can most certainly to that hence his driving ability and reaction time is absolutely stunning. As we all know, some of the best rally drivers are part of the FIA World Rallycross Championship Q2 race, which is a small type of a track race unlike any of the rallies you are used to. The video features some of the most exciting moment from this qualifying round, as well as a footage from Toomas Heikkinen taking over the lead with ease!
The day starts off pretty poor, as there is a heavy rain. But this will not stop the drivers from having a hell of a race! Even at the start of the race, one driver slides off the track immediately but manages to get back in the race shortly after. After awhile the rain stops but the track is still wet and dangerous for racing.
Toomas Heikkinen holds up the pressure surprisingly well, despite having tremendous opponents such as Sebastian Loeb, Petter Solberg and Ken Block. He manages to push in on the other drivers, thus eventually taking over the top spot in an incredible finish. What do you think, can we consider Toomas as one of the best drivers at this moment?
