Regarding the transmission, Ford has announced that the 2018 Ford Mustang will also receive a 10-speed automatic transmission that is featured in the new F-150 Raptor and F-150 3.5 EcoBoost models. The same transmission shares the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, which is understandable as the option was co-developed by Ford & GM.
