Elon Musk announced that Tesla was developing a vehicle charger that works like a robot. Basically, it comes out of the wall like a robotic metal snake and connects to the car. Well, Tesla has revealed this creepy contraption and you can see the prototype in action. This just proves how many benefits EV drivers have.
This contraption might be spooky, but the convenience with automatic charging sure is considerable. For now, the metal snake charger is just a prototype and we are sure that it will be upgraded with time. For the next video, we present another marvel from Tesla – The Wireless Tesla Charging system.

This next video shows the future of all Tesla drivers and it looks pretty bright. This wireless Tesla charging system is called Plugless. Like the name suggests, this contraption has the ability to charge Tesla`s vehicles without plugging the car. This system applies wireless inductive charging. The electricity which is running through a coil is creating a magnetic field.
This way, the current is transferred between the two coils without physical connection. This system charges at 7.2 kilowatts. Meaning that it can add 20 miles driving range per hour. It`s also fascinating that this system works both outdoor and indoor. Unfortunately, for the time being, this system is only compatible with RWD Model S cars.
